Single Window Clearance Authority clears projects in Orissa

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Orissa has approved a park project and steel equipment facility in the state.

The authority approved setting up of a logistics park at Kalinga Nagar steel hub proposed by Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) over 30 acre at an investment of Rs 70 crore. The project is expected to be commissioned within three years of acquisition of land. The facilities at the proposed park include two full length railway lines, paved surface for handling containers, warehousing for domestic and export cargo, bulk and break-bulk facility, modern container and bulk handling equipment.

Further the authority gave a go-ahead to SMS India for setting up a steel equipment manufacturing facility at Khurda over 15-20 acre at a cost of Rs 174 crore.
